At Write to Heal Centre, we are committed to delivering programs of the highest quality and to your complete satisfaction. We understand that circumstances change, and we have designed this policy to be as fair and transparent as possible.

Please read this Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms.

We stand behind every course and program we offer. If you are not satisfied, we will work with you to make it right — whether that's a refund, a transfer, or finding the right program for your needs.

1. Online Courses — 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All online courses purchased through Write to Heal Centre are covered by our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a course, simply contact us within 30 days of your purchase date and we will issue a full refund.

How to Request a Refund

  • Email us at info@writetohealcentre.com.au with the subject line "Refund Request"
  • Include your full name, the course name, and your order number (found in your confirmation email)
  • We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method

Please note: Once a CPD completion certificate has been downloaded or issued, the course is considered fully delivered and refunds cannot be processed regardless of the date of purchase.

2. Live Workshops and In-Person Programs

For live online workshops, in-person facilitated sessions, and corporate group programs, the following cancellation and refund terms apply:

Transferring Your Place

If you are unable to attend a live workshop, you may transfer your enrolment to a colleague or another person at no additional cost, provided you notify us at least 48 hours before the program start date. Please email us the name and contact details of the replacement participant.

3. Corporate and Group Programs

For organisations that have booked group programs, workshops, or ongoing facilitation services, the following terms apply:

3.1 Program Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total program fee is required to confirm a corporate booking. This deposit covers program design, scheduling, and facilitator preparation time.

3.2 Cancellation by Organisation

3.3 Postponement

If an organisation needs to postpone a program, we will make every effort to reschedule at a mutually convenient time at no additional cost, provided at least 14 days notice is given. Postponements with less than 14 days notice may incur an administrative fee of up to $250.

4. Cancellation by Write to Heal Centre

In the unlikely event that Write to Heal Centre needs to cancel or postpone a program due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to illness of the facilitator, technical failure, or force majeure events), we will:

  • Notify you as soon as reasonably possible
  • Offer a full refund of all fees paid, or
  • Offer a transfer to an alternative date or program of equal value

Write to Heal Centre accepts no liability for any indirect costs or consequential losses arising from a cancellation or postponement, including travel, accommodation, or lost time.

5. Technical Issues

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your course, please contact us immediately at info@writetohealcentre.com.au. We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If a technical issue on our end prevents access to a course for more than 72 hours, we will offer you:

  • A full refund, or
  • An extension of your access period by the equivalent number of days affected

6. Change of Mind

We understand that sometimes a course or program may not be the right fit. Under our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee for online courses, no reason is required for a refund request. For live programs and workshops, the cancellation terms in Section 2 apply regardless of the reason for cancellation.

7. GST and International Payments

All prices are inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. Refunds will be issued for the full amount paid including GST. For international payments, refunds are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Any currency conversion fees or exchange rate differences are outside our control and will not be compensated.

8. How Refunds Are Processed

  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout
  • Credit card refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank
  • We do not issue refunds by cash, cheque, or bank transfer unless the original payment was made by bank transfer
  • We will send you a confirmation email once your refund has been processed

9. Disputes

If you are unhappy with the outcome of a refund request, please escalate your concern to us in writing at info@writetohealcentre.com.au. We will review your case within 5 business days and provide a written response. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and promptly.

If you remain unsatisfied after our internal review, you may contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) at www.accc.gov.au or the NSW Fair Trading at www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Our Refund Policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have as a consumer under the ACL, including the right to a remedy where a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
